Position: Health and Wellness Initiatives Coordinator
Reports to: Atlanta Black Gay Pride Committee

The Atlanta Black Gay Pride Planning Committee seeks a Health and Wellness Initiatives Coordinator:

This is a volunteer position, as are all planning committee positions. Planning committee members all receive a small honorarium and expense reimbursement.

Atlanta Black Gay Pride 2018 is August 27th – September 3rd.

The Atlanta Black Gay Pride Health and Wellness Initiatives Coordinator will be expected to spend 4-6 hours per week working in this capacity March 1st – September 3rd and will commit to a minimum of 20 hours during Atlanta Black Gay Pride Week (August 27th – September 3rd, 2018).

The Health and Wellness Initiatives Coordinator must be minimum of 18 years of age. This position supports the work of Atlanta Black Gay Pride’s, commitment to strengthen the community through wellness development, healthy living, and social responsibility during Atlanta Black Gay Pride Week. This individual is also responsible for building and fostering relationships with Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), state and local Health Departments, local medical facilities and AIDS Healthcare Organizations in the greater Atlanta area. The preferred candidate will have a background in education, public health, nutrition, or health and wellness.
